M. Janie (Gray) Sparks, 78, of Wheeling passed away on Friday August 23, 2024.
She was born in Wheeling, daughter of the late AJ and Thelma Gray.
Janie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and wonderful friend. She was an avid tennis player and fan and will very much miss time spent with her bridge club. Her sense of humor and welcoming spirit will also be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Stephanie Sparks and brother AJ Gray, Jr.
She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Sparks, Jr.; daughter, Susan (Scott) Nolte; grandchildren, Annie Fox, Lauren Fox, Zachary (Alexandria) Nolte, Paige Nolte, Lucas Nolte, Lauren Nolte and other close family members.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 from 4 pm until the time of memorial service at 6 pm at Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St., Wheeling (304-242-2311).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Valley Hospice.
