Mary Janet Fish Berger, 87, left her earthly home on July 25, 2024.
Born in Marshall County to her parents, Herman and Ruth Fish, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Berger; her siblings Roger Fish, Doris Herrick, and Walter Fish; and her brother-in law, Leo Herrick.
She leaves behind her son, Carl Richard (Kim) Berger; her daughters, Beth Ann (Chad) Cantrell and Jill Lyn (Daron Bailey) Shade; and her six grandchildren, to whom she was known as Mena: Erica, Tony, and Alex Berger, Zach and Kinsey Cantrell, and Soren Shade. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Janet Fish, and her dear nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at the First Christian Church in New Martinsville, WV, 1 p.m. on Sunday, September 29th.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Martinsville Library for the beautification of the new Imagination Station park.
