Sharon "Daw" "Grandma" Lee Clemens McCausland, 83, of Valley Grove WV, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home.
She was born April 27, 1941, in West Liberty, WV, daughter of the late Margaret Ellen DeGarmo Mulvey.
Sharon was a retired Clerk for Walmart at the Highlands and was a Christian by faith.
She loved to travel with Uniglobe, fish, dance, and she loved the mountains of WV, especially Petersburg.
In addition to her mother, Sharon was preceded in death by her stepfather, John H. Mulvey, Sr.; sister, Janet (Phil) Allen; sister, Delores (Richard) Ernest; son, Kevin McCausland; and nephew, Kenny Ernest.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Raymond "Pappy" Harold McCausland, Sr.; They will observe their 65th wedding anniversary on September 5, 2024. Also surviving are her three children, Terri (Todd) Stead of Wheeling, WV, Dana McCausland of Valley Grove, WV, and Ray (Pam) McCausland, Jr. of Valley Grove, WV; sister, Beverly Ernest of Columbus, IN; five grandchildren, Michael Stead, Samantha (Ben) Murfin, Tifini (Isaac) McIntire, Dorothy McCausland, and Jessica McCausland; three step-grandchil- dren, Randy Boise, Kellie Boise, and Nick (Kyra) Tobin; seven great-grandchildren, Ryder, Adam, Lucy, Henry, Kian, Jace, and Alice; several nieces & nephews; cats, Zoe, Rachel, and Mr. Pig; and dogs, Big Jake & Lilly.
Friends will be received on Sunday, September 1, 2024 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 2:00 PM at Kepner Funeral Homes, 166 Kruger Street, Wheeling, WV (304-242- 2311) with Mr. Spencer Curry officiating.
