Bonnie Jean Baker Rush Chambers, age 83, of Moundsville, WV passed away peacefully, with family by her side on Thursday September 5, 2024 at Wheeling Hospital, of ongoing health complications.
She was born November 27, 1940 in Moundsville, the daughter of the late Glenn, Sr. and Helen Smith Baker.
She loved to crochet blankets; cooking for and spending time with her family; was an avid bingo player since she was l8 years old; enjoyed scratching off Lottery tickets; and was baptized a Methodist.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four siblings; William and Ronald Barker, Kenneth Baker and Mary Jane Baker Hall; her first husband, Clarence Rush; her second husband, Albert "Junior" Chambers; a son, Donald E. Rush, Sr.; a granddaughter, Kathy Jo Rush; and 3 infant children.
She is survived by two sons, Franklin (Monna) Rush of Renick, WV and Raymond (Sharon) Rush of Cameron, WV; a daughter, Patricia Chambers Littleton of Glen Easton, WV.; one brother, Glenn Baker Jr. of Moundsville; eleven grandchildren; three step-grand children; twenty-seven great- grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; two great-great-grand children and one on the way; several nieces and nephews; and her little dog, Sassy Mae.
Family will receive friends Monday 3pm until 5pm at Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville.
Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
