Scott Cummins Harris, age 63, of Glen Easton, WV died Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at home, with family at his side.
He was born October 26, 1960 in Glen Dale, WV.
He was a 5th generation devoted farmer; a coal equipment operator for over 30 years with Kammer Power plant, AEP; a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church; enjoyed card games, especially Euchre, 4-wheeling, and his 4-legged family; was a 4-H camp counselor for years; and he never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents who raised him, Wayne and Mary Cummins.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Carolyn Frohnapfel Harris; a daughter, Shelby (Kenny) Mayhugh of Moundsville; and several cousins, aunts, uncles and his in-laws.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Monday, September 30, 2024 at 11:00am at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 610 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville.
Celebration of Life with refreshments to follow in Xavier Hall.
