Sharon Hillbery Sloan, 83, of Wheeling, WV, died Monday, September 2, 2024 in WVU Wheeling Hospital.
She was born February 9, 1941 in Jordan, WV; the daughter of the late Richard Joseph and Evelyn Ruth Arnett.
Sharon was a seamstress making wedding dresses for the Victorian Company and Kaufmann's; a mem- ber of the Island Group Garden Club; and former member of Bridgeport Eagles serving as president of the Women's Association.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Ron Hillbery.
Survivors include three sons, Rick (Alice) Hillbery, Kenneth (Aarrissa) Hillbery, Michael Hillbery; two sisters, Shirley Kaib, Sandy Andy; three grandchildren, Christina, Kolben, Brittany; one great grandchild, Kaelin; several nieces and nephews.
Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
