Vincent (Vinny) Ellsworth Costain Sr., passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Liza's Place. Born on July 21, 1952, Vinny knew not a stranger and was a friend to many.
Vinny was a proud associate member of Local 697 and retired from United Parcel Service where he delivered to many friends in the Belmont and Morristown areas of Ohio. He was a member of the Cave Club for decades and enjoyed spending time with many of the guys there.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn, parents Bill and Martha Costain, brother Charlie, sister Connie, brothers-in-law Bob Gwennap and Mick Cooper, and nephew, Bobby Gwennap.
Vinny will be greatly missed by his three sons: Vinny Jr. (Christina), Ray (Dawn) and Brad (Theresa). His eyes lit up when he spent time with his grandchildren, Gabriel, Max, Dominic, Zachary, Sophia, Luke, Joseph, Ashley, Nick, Dakota, Abagail and Jeremiah, as well as great- grandchildren Theo and Ava. He will also be missed by his brother Bill (Diane), sister-in-law Sharon, brother-in-law Buck, nieces, Beth, Kim and Michele and nephew Bucky.
There will be no visitation. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the next couple of months at Corpus Christi Parish, 212 Station Street, Bridgeville, PA, 15017.
