WILLARD FISHER

Willard Nole Fisher, 80, of Moundsville, WV, formerly of Washington, PA, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling, WV.

He was born on April 14, 1944, in New Martinsville, WV, the son of the late Virginia Fisher and Roy O'Neil.

Willard, known to many as "Will," worked for several years as a coast-to-coast truck driver before returning to and retiring as an HVAC specialist. He had a passion for camping, fishing, playing cinch, and trying his luck at the slot machines. Will was a one-of-a-kind person who left an unforgettable impression wherever he went with his unique personality.

He is survived by his two daughters, Kara Moats of Beallsville, OH, and Lea Fisher of Canton, OH; two sisters, Nancy Lasure of New Martinsville, WV, and Carolyn Powell of Williamstown, WV; two brothers, Berdell Fisher of Lewisville, OH, and Roger O'Neil of New Martinsville, WV; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Will is preceded in death by his longtime girlfriend, Charlotte Kelly; four sisters, Garnet Shafer, Marjorie Bassett, Shirley Waddle, and Eva Dakan; and one brother, Clifford "Bud" Fisher.

In accordance with Will's wishes, he will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date to celebrate his life.
