REGINA “JEAN” YOUNG

She was born February 12, 1937, in Martins Ferry, OH, daughter of the late Leonard and Mary Rentzler Bodemann.

Jean retired as a Medicare Coordinator from The Health Plan. She was a member of Corpus Christi Parish and the Elm Grove Eagles Auxiliary.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Leonard and Richard Bodemann; and two sisters, Barbara Long and Mary Lou Pucci.

She is survived by her children, Mary (Mark) Walker, Annette (William) Ralph, Kelsie (Renee) Young and John (Maureen) Young; grandchildren, Melissa Walker, Jessica Ralph, Taylor Young and John (Elissah) Young; great- grandchildren, Seth, Lundyn and Ronald White, William and Jordan Bowman and Luka Young; special friend, Tony Gesualdo; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family will be received Thursday, October 10, 2024 from 2 – 6 PM at Kepner Funeral Home, Burke Chapel, 2101 Warwood Ave., Wheeling (304-277- 2722).

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, October 11, 2024 at 10 AM at Corpus Christi Parish, 1508 Warwood Ave., Wheeling with Father Joseph Wiley as celebrant.

Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Martins Ferry, OH, will be held at the convenience of the family.
