VICKIE POND

She was born May 26, 1953 in Glen Dale, WV, a daughter of the late Mack and Lillie Lavern Crow Garey.

She was a retired office manager at Glen Dale Motors for over 40 years, Methodist by faith, graduate of John Marshall High School. She loved her family and was an avid WVU fan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Ruth Ann Garey, Verna Mae Garey and Janet Wnek.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Sidney P. Pond; son, Jeremiah (Dara) Pond of Moundsville, WV; sister, Mary (Tom) Randolph of Wheeling, WV; two grandchildren, Ethan and Kyra Pond and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville, WV, where services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Spencer Curry officiating.

Entombment will follow in Riverview Mausoleum Moundsville, WV.
