WILLIAM SNYDER
William Anthony Snyder, 87, of Wheeling, WV, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home.
He was born February 8, 1937 in New Brighton, PA to the late John & Cecelia (Rice) Snyder.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, James Snyder and John Snyder.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Charlene Snyder; two sisters, Paulette Nineinger and Dee Mikus; four daughters, Karen (Bill) Haught, Christine (Gary) Webb, Charlene (Roger) Walter, Carman (Anthony) Strope; 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
In addition to the love for his family, he had a passion for country music, animals, and working as a police officer. He was an active member of Lava Ave. Baptist Church.
Friends will be received on Friday, November 1, 2024 from 10am until the time of service at 12pm, at Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St. Wheeling, WV (304-242- 2311), with Pastor Shaun Borner officiating. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery to follow.
