IVAN LILLEY
Ivan O. Lilley, age 87, of Moundsville, WV, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2024, at his home.
He was born April 21, 1937, in Glen Easton, WV, a son of the late James T. and Ellen Georgia Gilmore Lilley.
He was a retired foreman for Triangle Conduit, enjoyed farming, and pulled ponies for 30 years. He loved his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, David and Roger Lilley; brother, Edward Lilley; a sister, Ruth Chambers; and a great-great- granddaughter, Olivia Lilley-Anderson.
Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Jean Burge Lilley; six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, three great-great- grandchildren; three sisters, Nancy Blake of Moundsville, WV, Doris Palmer of Glen Easton, WV and Mae (Roger) Strope of Cameron, WV; several nieces and nephews; and daughter-in-law, Jeanie Lilley of Moundsville, WV.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 4-7 p.m. at the Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville, WV, where services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m.
Interment will follow at Beelers Station Cemetery, Cameron, WV.
