JAMES McALLISTER

James lived a full and meaningful life. He was an Air Force Veteran during the Korean War, and had a thirty three year career with the former Triangle Conduit & Cable Company. He was a devout Christian who enjoyed reading his Bible every day. His hobbies included music and squirrel hunting. He always enjoyed good conversation and memories of his upbringing on the family farm.

He will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, William and Freddie (Goodnight) McAllister, James was preceded in death by his wife and best friend of 43 years, Joan (Blondell) McAllister and siblings, William (Jean) McAllister and Mary Ellen (Joe) Edgell.

Left to celebrate his memory and carry on his legacy are James’s two sons, Mike and William (Sandra) McAllister, four grandchildren, many great grand children and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Family and Friends will be received Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 12:00 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes Kirby-Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Ave., Moundsville, WV. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville with full Military Honors.
