Diana M. Milton, 72, of Wheeling, West Virginia, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 7, 2024, at Liza's Place in Wheeling. Born on June 6, 1952, in Wheeling, she was the beloved daughter of the late William and Madelyn (Heim) Houser.
For over five decades, Diana dedicated herself to her work as a clerical worker at Wheeling Hospital and she was Catholic by faith.
In addition to her parents, Diana was preceded in death by her devoted companion, Kenneth McCardle, with whom she shared over 30 wonderful years. She is lovingly remembered by her children: Jason (Renae) Milton, Jennifer Milton-Smith (David) and Jessica Reed; and her brother, Mark Houser. Her legacy lives on in her 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 3 to 7 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Homes, Elm Grove Chapel, 154 Kruger Street, Wheeling. A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024, at 11 am at Greenwood Cemetery Chapel, 1526 National Road, Wheeling, with Rev. Kenneth Hardway officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
