Douglas C. Gordon, age 79, of Benwood, WV died Sunday, December 29, 2024 in Moundsville Health Care Center, Moundsville, WV.
He was born June 15, 1945 in Wheeling, WV the son of the late Charles and Doris Milhorn Gordon.
He was a US Navy Veteran; a retired employee from Ormet and Trans Tech Logistics; and a Catholic by faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas and Donald Gordon a sister-in-law, Sharon Kaye Clegg.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lee Wise Gordon; two daughters, Tammy (Ed) Bober of St. Clairsville, OH and Theresa (Jack) Hatch of South Carolina; a son, Douglas (Pam) Gordon of Mississippi; a brother, Gordon C. (Janet) Gordon of Wheeling; four sisters, Cathy Gordon Skrypek, Jeri Mason, Barbara (John) Howell, and Linda Gordon Baker (Roger); sisters-in-law, Carolyn and Jane Gordon; a brother-in-law, Milton Clegg; nine grandchildren, Kylie (Dan) Grunau, Audrey (Mike) Pasztor, Hayden (Mallory) Gordon, Tyler (Erin) Gordon, Lance Gordon, Zac Ondeck, Travis Ondeck, Taylor Hatch, and Dawson Hatch; eight great-grand children and one on the way; and several nieces and nephews.
Private Services and Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
