Jay J.C. Mulhollen, 94, of Washington PA formerly of Wellsburg, WV died peacefully on Christmas Day December 25, 2024, at home.
He was born on June 20, 1930, in Wheeling, WV, a son of the late John Alva and Wilda (Clemens) Mulhollen.
In addition to his parents his preceded in death by his loving wife, Nancy F (Curtis) Mulhollen on October 1, 2014; a son, Jon Scott Mulhollen on September 15, 2023; and a brother Rex Mulhollen.
Jay graduated from Wellsburg High School in 1948 and later retired from being a truck driver for over 40 years. He was also the owner of the former JB Carryout. He was a member of the Beech Bottom Community Christian Church, and a member of the Pine Valley Sportsmans Club in Adena, Ohio since 1970.
Jay survived by three daughters Joyce (Mulhollen) Maciak of Washington, PA, Brenda Mulhollen (Terry Wiggins) of Canonsburg, PA, and Jaye Lynn Mulhollen (Gabrielle Hundley) of Washington, PA; a great granddaughter, Natalia Maciak who was the apple of his eye; two step grandsons, Garry and George Stephenson.
Visitation for Jay will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Mullenbach Funeral Home 669 Main St. Follansbee, WV 26037 and again on Sunday, December 29th from 12:00 pm until the time of funeral services at 1:00 pm with Pastor Gary Gibson officiating.
Interment will follow in Kadesh Chapel Cemetery in Beech Bottom, WV.
