Charlotte Marie McCulley, age 81, of Wheeling, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2025 at WVU-Wheeling Hospital.
She was born May 31, 1943 in Wheeling, WV daughter of the late Ferdinand and Marie Fausch Schraml.
Charlotte was an exceptional mother and wife, who dedicated her life to her family and faith. She was a former secretary at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic School and the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston and a member of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, Wheeling.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Robert "Bill" McCulley III and her brother: Oscar Schraml.
Survivors include her four incredible children: Robert "Bob" (Jane) McCulley IV of Bridgeport, WV, Lisa (Pat) Leinweber of Mt. Morris, PA, Lori (Jimmy) Kudlak of Wheeling, WV, Lynne (Rob) Ferko of Pittsburgh, PA; 15 amazing grandchildren Sarah (Ian), Amanda (RJ), Clayton (Kyla), Morgan (Kolten), Bobby (Brooke), Robin (Andy), Jarrod (Shenai), Taylor, Hannah, Ryan (Miranda), Alizabeth (James), Robbie (Jasmine), Ashton, Seth, and Owen; 25 entertaining great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, great family friends including the Patrosso Family of Michigan.
Per Charlotte's request there will be no visitation. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at 11am at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 2244 Marshall Ave., Wheeling with Fr. Jeeson Stephan as celebrant.
In lieu of flowers and food memorial contributions, in memory of Charlotte McCulley, may be made to St. Vincent DePaul School, Sponsor a Student Program, 2244 Marshall Ave, Wheeling, WV 26003.
