DON CROW

Don W. Crow, formerly of Moundsville, West Virginia was reunited with his wife Shirleen (Robinson) Crow on Sunday, January 12th in Worthington Ohio.

He was born on September 15, 1928 in Moundsville, West Virginia, son of the late Wesley and Elizabeth Crow.

Don was a devoted husband, father, and pap who cherished his family above all else. A US Army veteran and former employee of Allied Chemical and Olin Chemical Corporation. A skilled outdoorsman in his earlier years, after retiring he turned to golf and spent his days between family and honing his golf skills that made him a well known amateur golfer around the Ohio Valley, having competed in numerous local tournaments.

He was a staunch WVU football and basketball fan and a consummate jokester with a witty sense of humor. He had immense love for his wife, children and grandchildren – the latter could easily twist his arm into repeatedly providing his rendition of the classic kids’ song “Davy Crockett” so they could hear “Pappy Don” provide his unique pronunciation of the word “bear”.

In addition to his parents and beloved wife Shirley, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Erma Church and Evelyn Berisford, and his brother Ralph Crow.

He is survived by his loving sons Vince (Marcy) Crow, Smithfield, PA., Gregg (Myra) Crow, Columbus, OH., Scott (Margarita) Crow, Worthington, OH. Grandchildren, Jeremy (Melissa) Crow, Amber (Michael) Shannon, Dylan Crow, Ryan (Alexis) Crow, Wesley (Caroline) Crow, Julia Crow; Great-Grandchildren Ethan and Owen Shannon, Dawnie and Cooper Crow.
