DOROTHY HAMILTON

She was born on July 11, 1925 at Adaline, near Cameron, WV. Daughter of the late Clell L. and Mildred Elizabeth Dodd Parsons.

Dorothy was a 1944 graduate of Sherrard High School, Sherrard, WV. She retired from Farm Dairy Co-Op in Triadelphia, WV and the Ohio County Public Service District in Triadelphia, WV.

She was a member of National Road Church of Christ, Wheeling, WV.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Fred R. Hamilton; son, Fred R. Hamilton, Jr. and his wife, Georgia L. Syrylo Hamilton; son, Gary L. Hamilton; sisters, Kathryn Lou Parsons, Dolly Arlene Parsons, Janice Lorraine Parsons, and Doris Jean Parsons Wells and her husband, Leo Wells; brothers, Dale A. Parsons and his wife, Mary Dobrzynski Parsons, Lawrence R. Parsons and his wife, Donnis J. Main Parsons, Kaird Elmer Parsons, Wayne C. Parsons, Lewis R. Parsons, and Clarence E. Parsons and his wife, Deanna Nelson Parsons; and sister-in-law, Geraldine “Jeri” White Parsons.Dorothy is survived by her daughter-in-law, Georgia A. Hamilton; brothers, Earl F. Parsons, Jay D. Parsons (Kathy), and Paul H. Parsons (Helen); sisters-in-law, Sandra Parsons and Donna Parsons; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends will be received on Sunday, February 2, 2025 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Kepner Funeral Homes, 166 Kruger Street, Wheeling, WV (304-242-2311) where services will be held on Monday, February 3, 2025 at 11 AM with Minister Ryan Parsons officiating.

Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Park View Memorial Gardens.
