Judy V. West (Bonar), 81, of Wellsburg, WV, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2025.
Born on July 11, 1943, in Moundsville, WV, Judy graduated from Moundsville High School and continued her education at West Liberty State College. She was a dedicated member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and had a lifelong passion for horses and equestrian activities. Judy also had a deep love for animals and was a devoted supporter of animal rescue organizations, including the Brooke County Animal Welfare League and the Hancock County Humane Foundation.
Judy cherished her family deeply. She is survived by her son, Rick West (Melanie). She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard West; her mother, Evelyn Bonar; and her father, Anthony Nadolski.
No visitation, a private celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hancock County Humane Foundation at hancockhumane.org.
