Emblen, Patricia June Miller, of Wheeling, WV, passed away peacefully at 92 on Monday January 6, 2025 at home.
She was born December 1, 1932, in Perry, OK, daughter of the late Estelle Adams Tremble.
She retired as the President for the James H. Emblen Company and was a member of Vance Memorial Presbyterian Church, The King's Daughters, Southern Star, and was a girl scout leader.
Patricia loved to laugh, tell jokes, and sports. She was the captain of her many bowling teams and President of the Wheeling Women's Golf Association, where she made 3 holes in one. She won many awards and trophies through the years for both. She enjoyed crafts, her family, and friends. She especially loved and enjoyed all her many pets through her 92 years of life.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Clyde Emblen, Jr.; 2 sisters; a niece; and her dog, Emma.
She is survived by her 4 children, Robert C. "Rick" Emblen, III, Ruth Ann (Frank) Muraca, Alberta "Bertie" Dumas, James Albert Emblen; 5 grandchildren, Pepper (Gary) Ford, Damien (Molly) Davis, Jessie Emblen, Amanda Emblen, Austin (Paige) Emblen; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and 11 nephews, 6 nieces, and their families.
A memorial service to celebrate Pat's life will be held at a later date. Arrangements made by Kepner Funeral Homes, 900 National Road, Wheeling, WV (304-232-2732).
