Shirley Mae Santora, 89, of Wellsburg, WV passed away on January 1, 2025.
Independent until her death, she was comforted in her home and during her passing by her family.
Shirley was born on March 26, 1935, to Ralph and Eva Walnoha in Wellsburg, WV.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Patsy Santora; her parents, Ralph and Eva Walnoha; her brother, Ralph Walnoha Jr. and her great-great grandson, Levi Michael Blakeley.
Shirley leaves behind a loving family including four children: Eva Gaudio and her husband, James of Colorado; Vicki Boyd of Moundsville, WV; Michael Santora and his wife Tammy of Wellsburg; and Sandi Counselman and her husband Melvin also of Wellsburg.
Also missing Shirley are six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchild- ren, and seven great- great-grandchildren.
Shirley was a child of God and an active congregant of the First Church of God on Bethany Pike in Wellsburg, WV. Formerly a Sunday school teacher, she leaves behind a legacy of love and faith.
Shirley was a caretaker of all of God's creatures and creations great and small.
No public viewings will be held. Her family invites friends to a service at the First Church of God on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jim Seabright officiating. Interment will follow at Franklin Cemetery, Wellsburg, WV.
