Thomas Albert Doepken, 78, of Valley Grove, WV, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025, at Wheeling Hospital.
He was born January 27, 1946 in Wheeling, WV to the late William & Betty (Jones) Doepken.
Tom was a 1964 graduate of Linsly, had a Masters degree in Sculpture from Ohio University, and was an Art Professor at Ohio University Eastern for many years. He had a passion for art and spent his life creating it.
He is survived by his wife, Alberta "Becky" Spring; his brother, Bill (Stacy) Doepken; many members of his wife's family; and his beloved dog, Paleface.
In accordance with Tom's wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements by Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St. Wheeling (304-242-2311).
