CARL MILLER JR.

He was born on January 16, 1946, in Wheeling, WV, son of the late Carl E. Miller, Sr. and Thelma Alverta Heft Miller.

Ed was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, a dairy farmer, and retired from Coen Oil Company as a laborer. He was a member of West Alexander First Christian Church.

He loved the West Alexander Fair and enjoyed farming and getting together with his former classmates.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Ivan Shaler.

Ed is survived by his two children, Carl “Buzz” E. (Kathleen) Miller, III of West Alexander, PA, Martha “Marnie” E. Miller of Valley Grove, WV; ex-wife, Rebecca L. Miller; five grandchildren, Maxine Shaler, Christopher Shaler, Jomana Miller, Carl E. Miller, IV, Nicole (Kyle Statkus) Miller; and 3 great-grandchildren, Lucas Miller, Kiara Tavares, and Kash Statkus.

A memorial visitation will be held at Kepner Funeral Homes, 166 Kruger Street, Wheeling, WV (304-242-2311) on Monday, March 3, 2025 from 10 AM until the time of the memorial service at 1 PM with Reverend Bruce Graff officiating. The Moundsville Veteran Honor Guard will be conducting military honors.

Friends are invited after services to attend a reception at West Alexander First Christian Church, 124 Main Street, West Alexander, PA 15376.
