Delores Rebecca (Mason) McCardle, 92, of Glen Easton, WV, passed away Friday, January 31 at WVU Reynolds Memorial Hospital.
She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 73 years, Kenneth McCardle; and her four children, Robert (Nancy) McCardle, Michael (Terri) McCardle, Tom (Marnie) McCardle, and Janet McCardle.
Delores was born on October 6, 1932 in Marshall County, WV, the daughter of the late William "Bill" Densmore Mason and Reca (Derrow) Mason.
She was baptized Methodist and attended Salem Church of Christ; a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great- grandmother; enjoyed her family around the farm riding her buggy/ATV; loved to cook, quilt, crochet, and watch the birds; and was president of the Football Moms at John Marshall High School.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Mason.
Survivors include her husband, four children, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, one brother, Ronnie (Barbara) Mason, and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Monday from 4-7 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. with Pastor Rodney Hubbs officiating.
Interment to follow in Salem Cemetery, Glen Easton.
