Shaw, Deloris Marie Powell, 93, of Dallas, WV, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025 at Liza's Place.
She was born June 27, 1931, in Valley Grove, WV, daughter of the late Paul B. and Bertha Mae Caldwell Powell Blake.
Deloris was a member of Sand Hill United Methodist Church and retired as a clerk at the former Spic & Span in Elm Terrace where she worked until she was 79 years old.
She enjoyed doing puzzles, crosswords, and eating out. She would move heaven and earth for her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Shaw in 1997; brother, Virgil Powell; and sister, Regina Powell.
Deloris is survived by her three children, Connie (Marilyn) Shaw of Hampton, VA, Robert L. (Lorena) Shaw of Dallas, WV, Donna M. (Mark) Ullom of Dallas, WV; five grandchildren, Dannielle (Doug) Ewing, Mark (Jackie) Ullom II, Christopher (Colleen) Folmar, Robert L. (Amber) Shaw, Brian (Billie Jo) Shaw; eleven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grand children.
There will be no visitation. Services and interment were held at the convenience of the family with arrangements by Kepner Funeral Homes, 166 Kruger Street, Wheeling, WV (304-242-2311).
