Evelyn Munson, 95, of Wheeling, WV, passed away on February 12, 2025 at Belmont Healthcare Center.
She was born September 23, 1929, in Wheeling, WV, a daughter of the late Charles Monroe Nash and Leda Mabel Catlett Nash
Evelyn was the House Mother for the Devereux Foundation. She loved to paint in water color and write poems, one of which was published.
She was a devoted "Cat Person". She loved spoiling her grandchildren and playing her role as "MumMum."
She is survived by her son, Richard "Rick" (Pat) Munson of Friendly, WV; brothers, Ron Nash and David Nash; twelve grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Munson; son, Roger Munson; daughters, Margaret Hall and Vicki DeRouanna; sisters, Janie and Shirley Nash and brothers, Chuck Nash and George Nash.
Visitation will be on Monday, February 24, 2025 from 11:00 am until time of funeral service at 1:00 pm at Myers Funeral Home with Reverend Don Thomas officiating. Interment will be in Friendly Cemetery.
