ISABELLE PAINTER
Isabelle Maxine Painter, 93, of Beech Bottom, WV died peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, February 7, 2025 at her daughter’s home in Colliers, WV.
Born on August 1, 1931 in Triadelphia, WV a daughter of the late John and Anna (Schaner) Hohman. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husand, Russell Painter, her son-in-law, Jim Truex, two brothers, Harry and John Hohman, and five sisters, Ruth Pickens, Mary Sheperd, Loretta Diamond, Dolores Boone, and Dorothy Griffith and her beloved dog Andy.
Isabelle graduated from Triadelphia High School in 1949. She owned and operated Isabelle’s Beauty Shop in Short Creek, WV for many years. Isabelle was a life long member of the Beech Bottom Community Christian Church and was a member of the Brooke County A.A.R.P.
She is survived by five devoted children, Linda (Richard) Mueleners of Atlanta, GA, Carol (Darrell) Bennett of Sparks, NV, Deborah Truex of Colliers, WV, Joyce Painter of Beech Bottom, WV, Russell Painter, III of Virginia Beach, VA; 15 grandchildren, and 24 great grandchildren with one on the way.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025 from 2-7 P.M.at the Mullenbach Funeral Home 669 Main St. Follansbee, WV where funeral services will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev.
