VIOLET KOSTECKI

She was born in Louise, WV to the late Stanley and Blanche Kostecki. Violet graduated from Warwood High and retired after 30 years of service to the US Treasury Department.

In addition to her parents, Violet is preceded in death by her sisters: Stella Maidens, Elnora, Della, Sophia and Virginia Kostecki as well as a niece, Shelva Tharp.

Left to cherish her memory and carry on her legacy is her niece, Emma Jean Fedczak, great nephews: Eric (Jen) Fedczak and Frank Tharp as well, great nieces Savannah, Emmie and Sydney Fedczak and great nephew, Logan Tharp.

Violet was a faithful and devoted Catholic who greatly enjoyed the Latin Masses at Our Lady of Lourdes Chapel in Bethlehem. There was nothing in life that brought her more joy and comfort than her faith and her sisters. They are now reunited.

Friends and family will gather for Violet’s funeral on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 154 Kruger Street, Wheeling, WV with interment immediately following at Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling.
