DAVID SKEDEL

He was born September 7, 1953 in Dillonvale, OH son of the late Martin and Barbara Angel Skedel.

David was a retired electrician from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, with over 30 years of service, and a Catholic by faith. He loved kids, dogs, gardening and anything outdoors. He would always keep himself busy doing things outside.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother: Jerry Skedel and two sisters: Janice Wayne and Catherine Skedel.

Survivors include his partner: Linda Flaherty; three children: David Skedel, Jr. of Moundsville, Martin (Trista) Skedel of MS and Julie Skedel of Wheeling; four grandchildren: Parker Skedel, Gavin Friede, Maxwell Blon and Franki Kerns; two sisters: Chris (Fred) Cybulski of Dillonvale, OH and Barb Skedel of Akron, OH; one brother: Martin (Cheryl) Skedel of FL and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 from 11:00am until time of service at 1:00pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 1 Ridgecrest Road, Bethlehem/Wheeling.

Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
