Harry L. Long, age 93, of Glen Dale, WV died Sunday, March 16, 2025 in WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV.
He was born August 19, 1931 in Marshall County, WV the son of the late John and Olive Riter Long.
He was retired from AEP; and was a member of Hillview Terrace Church of Christ, where he served as Deacon and Treasurer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Brian Long.
Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Shirley Gregg Long; two sons, Brent (Sonja) Long of Arrington, TN and Dr. David (Beth) Long of Lexington, SC; and four grandchildren, Harrison Long, Bradford Long, Campbell Long, and Lyndsey Long.
Family will receive friends on Saturday from 11am until 1pm at Hillview Terrace Church of Christ, 4th Street & Willard Avenue, Moundsville.
A Memorial Service will be held immediately following at 1pm honoring Harry and his son, Brian who recently passed with Evangelist Andy Robison officiating.
Private Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
