Marvin Edgar Ruckman, age 80 of Proctor, WV died Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at home.
He was born March 2, 1945 in Glen Dale, WV the son of the late Wilford and Jessie Gladys Rine Ruckman.
He was a US Army Veteran; a retired employee from PPG Industries; a member of Graysville United Methodist Church, a Marshall County Fair Board Member; President of Antique Tractor Club; and he loved farming and John Deere tractors, he was a true farmer at heart.
He was a dedicated father and grandfather, who loved his family more than life itself.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Levi Edgar Wood; and a daughter, Amy Sue Ruckman.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Fleming Ruckman; two daughters, Tabitha (Tim) O'Bannon of Jeffersonton, VA, and Stacie (Terry Wolford) Ruckman of Bellaire, OH; two step-sons, Anthony Mann of Clarington, OH, and Aaron (Toma) Mann of Wellsville, OH; a brother, Sheldon Ruckman of St. Albans, WV; grandchildren, Taylor (Robert) Morley, Marshal O'Bannon, and Jacob (Jeanina) Bandy; a great-granddaughter, Adalynn; and multiple step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 & 6-8pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 4pm with Rev. Mary Ann Nolte officiating.
Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
