MICHAEL FALLOVA

Michael Anthony Fallova, 95, was born on May 20, 1929, in Benwood, West Virginia, and passed away peacefully on March 4, 2025, at the Moundsville Healthcare Center.
Mike led a life full of dedication and service, both in his professional and personal life. A devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather, he will be remembered by all as “Pap” who knew him for his unwavering love.
Mike was a proud veteran who served our beloved country in the U.S. Army, a commitment that he cherished deeply. He continued his dedication to his fellow veterans and community members through his active participation in several organizations, including The American Legion – Blake Brothers Post No. 46, Garibaldi Lodge in Benwood, VFW Moundsville – Post 437, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Moundsville.
His working years were spent contributing to the construction industry as a cement truck driver, where his strong work ethic and steadfast reliability became hallmarks of his career.
Among his favorite pastimes, Mike cherished his Saturday mornings with friends at Visnic’s Exxon in Benwood, where they gathered over coffee to share stories and laughter.
Mike was a Catholic by faith. He lived his life with a deep sense of compassion and kindness, values that he instilled in his family.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Vincenzo and Virginia (Caporiccio) Fallova; his beloved wife, Margaret (Kestner) Fallova; brothers Vincent “Jim,” Patsy, Louie, and Frankie Fallova; and sisters Mary Parravani, Theresa Canestaro, Carmella Petrone, Margaret Gongola, Maggie Cannarella, Lena Malolepszy, and Jennie McAdam.
Mike leaves behind a legacy of love with his son, Anthony “Mike” (Mary) Fallova, and daughter, Michele (Les) Pultz; grandchildren Nathan (Ashley) Fallova, Nicholas Fallova, and Theresa “Tess” (Cameron) Still; as well as cherished great-grand- children Gabriella Fallova and Sophie Fallova. Also, caregiver and friend, Regina Spagenberg.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 11 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church, 622 Main St., Benwood, WV, with Father Doney Chacko as celebrant. The service will be followed by Full Military Honors rendered by the Moundsville Veterans Honor Guard, honoring his lifetime of service and sacrifice.
