RONALD FELIX

Eliot Ronald Lee Felix, known lovingly as Felix, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his devoted family, on March 11, 2025, at the age of 80.

He was born on June 20, 1944, in Wheeling, West Virginia to the late Nick and Virginia (Dean) Felix, and was the youngest of seven children. He lived a life filled with dedication, service, humor, and love.

Felix met his beloved wife, Judy (Lord) Felix, in the early 1960s at a dance in Berwick, ME. They quickly fell in love, and in 1965, they married and went on to raise three children together: Lori, Ron, and Bekki. Felix dedicated 20 years of his life to the United States Air Force, retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant after an outstanding and honorable career. His service took him all over the world, including Pease Air Force Base in New Hampshire, Lackland Air Force Base in Texas, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Egypt, and Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana. A man of deep faith, Felix read the Bible daily. He was a prolific gardener for much of his life, a hobby he adored and shared generously with others, often giving his fresh produce to family, friends, and neighbors. He loved helping his grandkids dig for potatoes. Felix's love for the land, as well as his devotion to his family and faith, were central to the life he led. Felix had a special place in his heart for his beloved dogs, Cinda and Sophie, who were his and Judy's faithful companions. He also loved visiting his hometown of Wheeling, West Virginia, and spending time with his family there.

Felix was predeceased by his son, Ronald Mark Felix, and his siblings, Margaret, Sally, Nick, and John.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Judy (Lord) Felix; daughters Lori Goldenthal and her husband, William, of Wellesley, MA, and Bekki McManus and her husband, Michael, of Eliot, ME; sisters Shirley and Susan; and his cherished grand children, Alexa, Mark, Emma, Tess, Elizabeth, and Jack.

A small burial service in Eliot, ME will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Smile Train in his memory. Felix's legacy of faith, love, and service will forever be remem- bered. He made the world a better place through his kindness, generosity, and unwavering dedication to those he loved. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
