ANDREW CENCARIK

Andrew Robert Cencarik, 76, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2025, at Liza’s Place. Born on February 20, 1949, in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the beloved son of the late Andrew R. Cencarik and Kathryn (Pigan) Cencarik.
Andrew proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. Following his active duty, he continued to serve in the National Guard across several states, including Illinois, Oregon, Pennsylvania, and twice in Ohio. His dedication to service was a testament to his strong sense of duty and patriotism.
In his professional life, Andrew worked in appliance sales, where he was known for his commitment and work ethic. His career spanned many years, during which he formed lasting connections with colleagues and clients alike. Andrew was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed going to games at Heinz Field with his son Andrew.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Mary Anne Merville.
Andrew leaves behind a loving family, including his son, Andrew (Kristen) Cencarik; his step-sons, Charles E. (Jennifer) Bushovisky, Jr.; and Joseph G. Bushovisky. He is also survived by his brothers, Michael Cencarik and Richard (Joan) Cencarik; former spouse, Lillian Cencarik; along with numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.
A private interment at the Cemetery of the Alleghenies will be held at the convenience of the family. Condolences may be shared with Andrew’s family at www.carechapel.com.
Andrew will be deeply missed by all who knew him and will be remembered for his service to his country and his devotion to his family. May he rest in peace.
