JOYCE HINKLE
Joyce “Grandma Joyce” Ann Grim Hinkle, 86, of Wheeling, WV, passed peacefully Monday, April 21, 2025 at Wheeling Hospital Continuous Care Center.
She was born November 1, 1938, in Cleveland, OH, daughter of the late Jess and Eileen Wolboldt Grim.
Joyce was a homemaker, retired banking manager in Warwood and known as “Grandma Joyce” to everyone. She was a member of Warwood Lions Club and Elm Grove Christian Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Hinkle; daughter, Joy Cox; infant son, Albert Hunt Hinkle; and sister, Diane Singer.
She is survived by her son, Randy (Darlene) Hinkle; grandchildren, Bryan Hinkle, Garrett Cox, Christopher Cox, Scott Hinkle and Taryn Sarko; great-grand children, Braden, Isabelle, Jaxen, Kylie, Annabelle and Logan; bonus great-grand children, Jay and Liam; sister-in-law, Sonnie Ikey; and several special nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
Friends and family will be received Thursday, April 24, 2025 from 10 AM until the time of service at 1 PM with Pastor Henry Lewis officiating at Kepner Funeral Home, Burke Chapel, 2101 Warwood Ave., Wheeling (304-277-2722).
Interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling.
