PATRICIA CASTILOW

She was born October 1, 1931 in Glen Dale, the daughter of the late Andrew and Lillian Gorby Garvonic.

She was a member of Glen Dale United Methodist Church; a retired RN, having worked at Reynolds Memorial Hospital and as a school nurse at John Marshall High School; was an avid golfer; and she enjoyed playing Bridge.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Castilow; a son, James “Mark” Castilow; a sister, Eleanor Knight; a brother, Andrew Garvonic; and her loving step-mother, Jake Garvonic.

Survivors include three sons, Jay (Nancy) Castilow of Glen Dale, Mike (Pamela) Castilow of Harrisburg, PA, and Keith Castilow of Denver, CO; two sisters, Karen Burgess of Bridgeport, OH and Vicky (Ernie) Valade of Michigan; nine, grandchildren, Sarah (Kevin) Prager, Michael (Megan) Castilow, Stephen Castilow, Brian (Andrea) Castilow, Laura (Will) Reams, Vincent Castilow, Sam Castilow, Jason (Annaliesse) Castilow, and Justin Castilow; and seventeen great-grand children.

Family will receive friends on Thursday from 4pm until time of Memorial Service at 5:30pm at Glen Dale United Methodist Church, 700 Wheeling Ave., Glen Dale with Rev. Jonathan Moon officiating.
