THOMAS “TOM” ZIRKLE

He was born in Randolph County, WV on December 9, 1940, a son of the late Dexter and Grace (Mace) Zirkle. Tom was a member of Simpson United Methodist Church and retired from Mine Safety Health Administration as a Federal Coal Mine Inspector after 23 years of service. He was an avid deer and turkey hunter and enjoyed spending time outside feeding the birds and gardening. Above everything else, Tom cherished his family and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a son, Glenn Zirkle and seven siblings.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Donna (Fritzman) Zirkle; son, Bob (Sabrina) Zirkle; daughter, Kim (Mike) Pulliam; daughter- in-law, Cindy Zirkle; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received Monday, April 21, 2025 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at CARE Funeral and Cremation Services, 1500 Second St., Moundsville, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 11 am with Pastor Michael Rowe officiating. Entombment will be held at Halcyon Hills Memorial Gardens.
