JOSHUA GOOCH

He was born May 31, 2000 in Wheeling, WV the son of Carletta McElfresh Barr and the late, Edward Allan Gooch. He was a Christian by faith; a coal miner with Tunnel Ridge Mine; loved dirt bikes, 4-wheeling, the outdoors, fishing, hunting and video games.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Doreen Mae McElfresh, Terri Barr, and Larry Keith McElfresh, Sr.; great-grandparents, Opal Crawford and Donald Lee Crawford; uncle, Gary Crawford; and a friend, John Lacy.

Including his mother, Carletta (Zack) Barr of Proctor, surviving are his siblings, Zoey Toothman, Clayton Toothman, and Isaiah Toothman; special friend, Izzy Corey; Godmother, Colleen Berardi; uncle, Larry McElfresh, Jr.; aunt, Slynn Taylor; cousin, Scott Taylor; grandparents, Francis (Robin) Barr; best friends, Ethan Wade, Jake Wood, Billy Hill, Tyler Whitlatch Axel Wade, David Day, Lucas Russell, Tina and Matt Corey, Lakyn Corey; and many other family and friends.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2pm until time of funeral service at 4pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville with Rev. Kathy Wills officiating. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
