TROY YOHO
Troy Eugene Yoho, born on August 31, 1967, in Glen Dale, WV, embarked on his final adventure on May 17, 2025, in Morgantown, WV, at the age of 57.
Troy lived a life filled with outdoor escapades and cherished moments with family and friends, leaving behind a legacy of laughter and love.
Preceded in death by his parents, Geneva (Goodnight) Yoho and Eugene Yoho, his sister Imogene “Sis” Dalesandro, and his grandparents, Troy leaves behind a family tree as extensive as his tales of outdoor exploits.
He is survived by his daughter Janice Yoho of Moundsville, daughter Shianne (Randy) Smith, step-daughters, Amanda VanScyoc and Brianna (Roger) Rush, along with siblings Nancy (Edward) Anderson, Perry Yoho Sr., and Wesley (Deona) Yoho. His extended family includes half-brothers Benjamin Dyer and Everett Lee Dyer, grandchildren Kinley, Khaliyah, Stephon Jr., Audriana, Rowan, Madison, Kenna, Jace, and Skylar, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Troy’s life was a testament to the joy of simple pleasures–go camping in the great outdoors or a hearty laugh shared with loved ones. Though his adventures have come to an end, his stories will continue to echo through the lives of those he touched.
In true Troy fashion, a celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 29, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the CARE Funeral & Cremation Specialists Moundsville Chapel, 1500 Second St. Tales will be swapped, laughter will abound, and Troy’s spirit will surely be felt among those gathered.
