Ashley Leanne Stern, daughter of Keith Stern and Janeen DeAtley and stepparents Betty Stern and Doug DeAtley, passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 16, 2025.
She was born on October 12, 1977, in Wheeling, West Virginia. She moved to Ohio with her mother in 1982. Graduated from Hillsboro High School as Salutatorian of the class of 1996. She was very active during her high school years, as a cheerleader and gymnast and belonged to many clubs and organizations.
She was accepted into the pharmacy program at Butler University in 1996. Her class was the first class to graduate in the PharmD Program, which was the first doctoral program in pharmacy at Butler University. She graduated with honors while suffering with many health issues.
She has many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was an aunt to her brothers' children Sawyer and Larkin and her sisters children Bridger and Boone. She is survived by her parents, one Brother Brian DeAtley and Sister Ginger Stern (Jake) Brown.
Honoring Ashley's wishes there will be no visitation or memorial services,
Ashley worked as a pharmacist for over 20 years when her health declined and she became disabled.
Ashley will be missed by all who know her. Rest in peace my loved one.
