David Wesley Frye, 58, of Triadelphia, WV, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Wheeling Hospital.
He was born February 3, 1967 in Wheeling, WV to Dorothy (Craig) Frye and the late Charles Frye.
David loved going fishing and ramp digging with his buddies. He was a farmer and could fix anything. He loved being a dance dad and a dance grandpa. He was a girl dad, for sure. He was a friend to everyone and to know him was to love him.
In addition to his father, David is preceded in death by his brother, Ronald "Ronnie" Frye and a nephew, Frankie Taylor.
David is survived by his wife, Lorie Frye; daughters, Corrie Frye-Beck and Amy Frye (Leo); his mother, Dorothy Frye; his grandson (his little buddy), Amaro Wesley Saldivar; sister, Sherri Taylor (Lee); sister-in-law, Wendy (Scott) Ware; his cousin, Bryan "Tuffy" Craig; several nieces and nephews and countless friends.
Friends will be received on Thursday, July 3, 2025 from 2pm until the time of service at 5 p.m., at Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St. Wheeling (304-242-2311).
