Dorothy Jean (Palko) Forsyth, 89, of Wheeling, WV, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2025 at The Residence at Hilltop in Monongahela, PA. She was born on January 18, 1936. Dorothy was the daughter of the late Margaret Palko of Lansing, OH, and the late Stanley Palko of Bellaire, OH. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Kim; grandson, Cole; sister, Peg Hall, and brother, William Palko.
Dorothy is survived by her children, David (Patty) Forsyth of Canonsburg, PA, Jim
(Haley) Forsyth of Florida, and John (Janet Gruber) Forsyth of Wheeling; grand- children, Kevin Forsyth, Kylie Forsyth, Tiera (David) Humphries, Dakota Forsyth, Zachary Forsyth, George Rodgers, Mackenzie Forsyth, and Natalie (Keishi) Arnold; five great- grandchildren; sister, Betty Fearon, brother, Robert (Eva) Palko; and several nieces and nephews.
She graduated from Wheeling High School and lived in Warwood for over 65 years.
Dorothy had been employed by Blue Cross, Blue Shield and at The Health Plan.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at The Residence at Hilltop and OSPTA Hospice for the compassionate care that they provided for Dorothy. There will be no public services as per her wishes. Arrangements by Kepner Funeral Home, Wheeling, WV.
