JUDITH PARSONS

Judith K. Parsons, age 82, of Moundsville, WV, passed away peacefully at her residence on June 7, 2025.
Born on January 9, 1943 in Glen Dale, WV, she was the cherished daughter of the late Leslie O. Taylor and Elizabeth (Burton) Taylor.
In addition to her parents, She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Bill and Russ Taylor.
Judith dedicated her professional life to serving others as a Customer Service Representative at First National Bank, where she was known for her kindness, patience, and unwavering commitment to helping those in need. Her warm spirit and dedication extended beyond her work, as she was an active member of Beta Sigma Phi of Moundsville and a devoted attendee of the Ash Avenue Church of God where she served as a Sunday School Teacher and also sang in their Choir and enjoyed spending time reading.
She leaves behind her beloved husband, Teddy H. Parsons of Moundsville, with whom she shared 62 wonderful years. She is also survived by her loving daughter, Beth Baker, and her husband Mark, of Moundsville. Judith was a proud grandmother to four grandchildren: Ted (Peyton Bertram) Bratton of Glen Easton, WV , Ryan (Lindsey) Bratton of Proctor, WV, Kayla (Sloan) Geho of Glen Easton and Joshua (Mari Truman) Baker of St. Clairsville, OH, two great grandsons, Halen Jett Bratton and Ryley Jameson Bratton and sister-in-laws, Mary Jane (Scherick) Taylor of Albuquerque, NM and Mary Jane (Hill) Taylor of Moundsville, who will dearly miss her presence in their lives.
Friends will be received on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby Vance Chapels, located at 118 Grant Avenue, Moundsville. The visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of services at noon, with interment to follow at Riverview Cemetery.
Judith will be remembered for her gentle nature, her devotion to family and community, and the love she shared with all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those she touched.
