Sherry Lynn Wright Gorby, 78, of Moundsville, WV died Saturday, June 21, 2025 in Liza's Place.
She was born December 29, 1946 in Glen Dale; the daughter of the late William W. Wright and Doris Jean Cain Ballauri.
Sherry was a retired medical secretary from the office of Dr. Vincent and a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Joseph Ballauri and one sister, Donna Dodson.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Billy W. Gorby; one son, William Hal Gorby of Morgantown; her cousin, Lynn Yocum of Moundsville; dear friends, Susie Baker, Norma Judge, and Jeremy Conner all of Moundsville.
Family will receive friends on Friday from 5-7pm at Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
