Anna Mae (Freeland) Moore, 74, of Triadelphia, WV, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025, surrounded by love.
She was born February 5, 1951 in Weirton, WV to the late Arley and Betty (Nicholson) Freeland.
Anna started out at the age of 15 as a teacher’s aide. When the Ohio Valley Mall opened, she started working at Kaufmann’s and had 31 cosmetic lines.
She then worked as a finance manager for a couple different car dealerships and ended with Bob Robinson. She started her own business, Mountain Top Gifts on Dixon’s Run. She moved the shop to the old train station in Elm Grove. Anna was the owner of Moore Enterprises and had many home rentals and also RV campsites.
She was a loyal sponsor of St. Jude Research Hospital. She loved to travel and visited so many special places with her beloved husband, Tom.
Anna is survived by her husband of 50 years, Gerald “Tom” Moore; her children, Tammy (Bruce) Baker, Janie Norman, Tom (Lori) Moore, Jerry (Christy) Moore, Misty Moore; her brother, John (Tina) Freeland; her sister, Arlene Barrett; brother-in-law, Lynn (Kelly) Moore; her sisters-in-law, Eva (Larry) Donato, Linda Chaplin, Karen (Eugene) Wiethe, Brenda (Charlie) Leek; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Bella.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 from 4-7 p.m., at Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St. Wheeling (304-242-2311), where service will take place Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 10 a.m., with Pastor Mike Palmer officiating. Interment to follow at Holly Memorial Gardens.
