On Tuesday July 15, 2025 Gary Arthur Sole, 77, of Middlebourne, WV passed away at home, with his brother Darrell at his side.
Gary was the son of Arthur and Jerle (Fibor) Sole of Middlebourne ,WV. He had 1 daughter Lisa Michelle (Jones) Cox, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He just enjoyed a weekend visit from his daughter and son-in-law.
He got to meet his 4 year old great-granddaughter, Willow, for the first time, Gary was raised and lived his entire life in beatiful "Lane Tree" community. Gary's passion was investing and he enjoyed collecting american made glassware.
He Also enjoyed his almost daily visit with friends in New Martinsville, WV and lunch at Choo Choo's. Gary was baptized into The Church of Christ and held a strong faith which he leaned on alot during his illness. Gary was a 1966 graduate of Tyler Co. High School in Middlebourne. A member of the Moose Lodge #931 and The American Legion. He was employed by American Cytec Industries for 39 years and retired on January 1, 2009. He held the position of logistic site operations for the last 10 years of employment.
He leaves behind his daughter, Lisa ( James) of NC. Darrell Of Middlebourne and sisters Karen (Tom) of Planto TX. 1 niece Jenna, 2 nephews James And Daniel, Rose his beloved dog and companion, plus 3 cats, Pretty Boy, Harry and Bashful (all 3 cats will need to be rehomed). He was preceeded in death by his brother Gregg.
