Jane E. Otte, 93, of Glen Dale, WV, died Sunday, July 6, 2025 at home.
She was born July 9, 1931, the daughter of the late George and Ida Meadows Terry.
Jane was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church, the Farm Bureau, and WV Cattleman's Association; worked the fish fry's at St. Jude Catholic Church and the Marshall County Election Polls; loved to travel and line dancing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, Gilbert, and Dana Terry; and a son-in-law, Tommy Schane.
Survivors include her husband of 74 years, being married on November 10, 1950, Hubert "Bud" Otte; two sons, Mark (Kelley) Otte and Michael (Denise) Otte all of Glen Dale; two daughters, Sandrea Schane of Moundsville and Scarlett "Beth" (Bob) Hubbs of Glen Easton; four grandchildren, Scott (Kelly) Schane of Moundsville, Megan (Patrick) Dolecki of Charlotte, NC, Justin Otte of Glen Dale, and Courtney (Travis) Goddard of Glen Dale; two great-grandsons, Jason Schane and Weston Otte Goddard; several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at noon at Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville, with Fr. Doney officiating.
Interment to follow in Halcyon Hills Memorial Park, Sherrard, WV.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Catholic Church, 710 Jefferson Ave., Glen Dale, WV 26038.
