KENNETH KRINER, JR.
Our beloved Kenneth Lee Kriner, Jr., “Pap Pap Ken”, 82, of Triadelphia, WV, went peacefully to the Lord, on Monday, June 30, 2025 at Country Club Retirement Center, Bellaire, OH.
He was born on October 21, 1942 in Du Bois, PA, son of the late Kenneth Lee Kriner, Sr. and Margaret Elizabeth Reineer Kriner.
Ken graduated from the former Triadelphia High School and the former West Liberty State College. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and was very proud to have served his country. He was a member of St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church where he was a past usher, and volunteered behind the scenes. He was also a longtime member of the Valley Grove Lions Club. He worked as a pizza delivery driver for Papa John’s and oh the stories he could tell.
He loved history, Jeopardy, was a very good cook, chauffeur, and enjoyed his Pepsi. He loved both the Steelers and the Pirates, collecting stamps, and books. Kenneth was a good, kind, and honest person who loved animals. He was also funny, laid back, and ornery.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jeffrey & Craig Kriner; and a grandson, Caleb Andrew Glass.
Ken is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Margery Ellen Jacobs Kriner; sister, Diane Mackey; daughter, Laura Anne (Brandon Mosa) Kriner; two grandsons, Devin Saul Glass, Gavin Michael Glass; two granddaughters, Jacee Rose (Andres) Glass Lopez, Bella Ann Mosa; three great-grandchildren, Raiden, Arianna, Karlee, and another little girl on the way; and many nieces & nephews.
Friends will be received on Sunday, July 6, 2025 from 12-3 & 5-7 PM at Kepner Funeral Homes, 166 Kruger Street, Wheeling, WV (304-242- 2311). Services will be held on Monday, July 7, 2025 at 11:00 AM at St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church, 141 Kruger Street, Wheeling, WV, with Pastor Tim Crummitt officiating. Interment will follow in Park View Memorial Gardens where the Moundsville Veteran Honor Guard will conduct full military honors.
