PEGGY KLUG

Peggy Ann Klug, 88, of Wheeling, West Virginia passed away Friday, July 11th at Peterson Nursing Home.

She was born March 1st, 1937 in Wheeling West Virginia, daughter of the late George and Margaret Gowland.

She was a talented seamstress who frequently gave back to others by sewing garments and wedding dresses for her family and friends. Her homemade breads and jellies were famous among family.

Her career of over 40 years was spent doing alterations at Suzanne’s fashion and bridal store in Elm Grove.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Georgie and son Russell “Rusty”

Peggy is survived by her sister, Mary Kay (Moine); brother Raymond,(Jane); children, Richard, Robin (Joe), Johnny, Marcy (David) and Matthew; grandchildren, Shawn (Jennifer), Jessica (Adam), & Darien; great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Zachary, Samual, Jackson and Owen.

She was loved by many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends and will be remembered for her quick wit and unfiltered honesty. She was known for her devotion and care for her son Johnny.

Her blessings continue as she has donated her body to science at West Virginia University in Morgantown where students will further their education and research.

Peggy has requested no funeral services. She will be missed and loved but never forgotten.
